



The military officers are the elite dancers and leaders of the team. They work closely with the directors to choreograph and teach the dance routines that the Prancers perform at football games, pep rallies, competitions, and the annual Spring Show. The military officers also compete as a small group in a variety of dance styles including jazz, lyrical, modern, kick, and novelty. In addition, they compete as soloists at several annual competitions.




Lieutenant
Kelli is a senior this year and has been a Prancer since she was a freshman. She is in her second year as Lieutenant Officer. Kelli has been a member of the Kick Company for two years, as well as making every field routine and contest dance since she joined Varsity. She was voted Favorite New Girl, as well as Spirit Girl of the Week and Leader of the Week. Outside of school, she enjoys reading and spending time in East Texas. Kelli plans to attend Stephen F. Austin University when she graduates.
Colonel
Kristen is a senior this year and served as Lieutenant her junior year. Kristen was a member of the lyrical company her sophomore and junior years, and was a solo finalist during the 2010 competition season. She has been dancing since the age of 4 and is trained in a variety of dance styles including ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical and modern. Her passion for dance can only be rivaled by her aspiration to become a pediatric physician. Kristen is currently ranked at the top of her class and would like to attend Rice University or the University of Texas with her older sister, Rachel. An all A student for her entire high school career, she is a well rounded young lady that is able to balance her dedication to both Prancers and academics.
Lieutenant
Michelle is a junior this year and has been a Prancer for two years. As a JV Prancer in 2009, Michelle placed first overall with her solo. In2010, she placed third in the January Jubilee and second at Showmakers. Michelle was also a member of the Lyrical Company in 2010. Her inspiration to dance comes from her sister, Danielle, who was also a Pearland Prancer Military Officer from 2001 to 2004. Michelle plans to pursue a career in dance after high school then later become an anesthesiologist.





Lieutenant Colonel
Julia is a senior this year and has been a Prancer for three years. As a junior she served the Prancer team as Lieutenant.
Lieutenant
Devynn is a junior this year and has been a Prancer for two years.
